October is always a special time of the year set aside to honor, remember, and fight for those women who’ve been told those four words, you have breast cancer. Although breast cancer is an unwelcomed diagnosis, it has added depth and deeply influenced the lives of our group. That’s why this past Saturday we were honored to have the opportunity to participate in the Sandi McCool Champions of Hope event.
Although cancer is not a good thing, the surgeons of WSA are here to help make this journey as pleasant as possible. From the diagnosis, through the education and decisions that must be made, and on through treatment, surgery, and recovery, we’re here to guide you and see you through to survivorship. Your understanding of everything you’ll be challenged with is important to us. We are committed to ensuring that you and your loved ones have a clear understanding of not only the surgical experience but all things to include calming your fears, telling your family, reconstruction, chemotherapy and radiation, prosthesis, and then your future health following this diagnosis.
To all the women that have entrusted us with your care, thank you for allowing us that privilege. If we can be of support and/or service to anyone facing breast cancer, please feel free to call our office at (334) 793-1534.
