On November 19th, we had the honor of sponsoring and decorating a tree to be auctioned off at a local charity event named “The Festival of Trees”, benefitting the Wiregrass Children’s Home. For our readers that don’t know, the Wiregrass Children’s Home provides a safe haven for neglected and abused children throughout seven counties in the Wiregrass area of Southeast Alabama. Their presence affords these children the loving support they so desperately need in the midst of their crisis, as well as a window of hope and a promise for a better tomorrow.
It was truly our honor to participate and much to our surprise, the tree we crafted together as a group sold for a whopping $5,000! We couldn’t have been any happier for the children and are so incredibly thankful to buyer. These children’s lives matter and their needs are many. Because of all the parties that participated in both the live and silent auctions, the children will benefit tremendously. Joy to the world!
